I’ve just had a fantastic session with one of my retail clients! They rock !!!

In just 4 short hourly sessions we can all now see how social media will bring about a susaintable return on investment and grow their sales. The journey is always different but the destination is the same. They truly understand the impact that the social web can have on their business and I get a great sense of satisfaction from helping them see it.

My objective is always clear, to make myself redundant. This may sound a bit unusal but to me it is my core ethic of how I want to do my business training and coaching. As a consultant or trainer, we should always try to treat our clients’ money as our own. It is so much more empowering to help a client and then get recommendations from them for another client. I always need to stay ahead and practise what I preach, that’s why my blog was top on google last week out of 1bn web pages !! [still cant believe it] and why my reach on twitter is now over 9million people !!! [still cant believe that either].

I have a number of clients now on my unique one to one training programme , they vary across industry sector but they all have one thing in common, they all want to grow their businesses online. We start off talking technical and I help them with very practical things. I give them tasks to do between the sessions and I’m available to support them throughout the period of engagement. This has taken my a few months to get right and I’m still trying my best to offer the highest level of personal service possible.

Having spent many years working in large corporates and more recently working with small to medium sized companies – the bit that excites me the most is making a long term impact with my clients. I expect them to demand a very high level of service from me and I expect to deliver a long term impact for their business development and their personal skills too.

I have the best job in the world !!! I’m so lucky I enjoy my work and helping businesses using social media and web technology.

If you need help trying to understand how social media will impact on your business then please email me pete@socialnetit.com .

Start a conversation with me today and I will try and help you.
